Shipping schedule: HOLIDAY ORDERS: Most orders are shipping (leaving the warehouse) by the next business day. Orders may be routed for shipping within seconds so cancellations and changes may not be possible. Review your order carefully. Express orders* (Continental USA only) allow next business day for packing and then 1-4 business days later for delivery in the USA. A business day is Monday through Friday excluding Holidays. If you are unavailable when the courier makes a delivery attempt, your delivery or pick-up may be delayed. We are not responsible for delivery delays. Invalid addresses, attempting to ship to an address other than an automatically verified billing address, invalid contact information, will delay your shipment.
Shipping expectations (days after ship date, most orders ship (leave the
warehouses) within 1 business day after the order is entered). An invalid
billing address or shipping to an alternate address will delay your order:

We ship in the USA 50 States at the above time estimates. For US Territories,
APO/FPO, Puerto Rico and other countries use the International shipping methods
and add additional time (add approx 10 days for forwarding, your countries customs agency may affect your delivery time). *The terms used for shipping methods are for this website only and are not directly related to a term by the shipping companies, they are based on delivery expectations. Express and Priority orders are processed ahead of "standard" shipping orders generally.

We ship only to verified addresses listed on
your credit card account (billing address or secondary address if they will
verify it with us.) We take these precautions to prevent fraud. Exceptions for
gifts made for previous customers only, restrictions apply. Delivery dates are
not guaranteed by us, we control shipping dates and delivery times may be
affected by carriers (UPS, FedEx or others). Inaccurate information such as a non-matching billing
address or invalid contact information (including phone numbers, email
addresses, address formats, etc) may delay shipping of your order or lead to order cancellation. Carrier drivers may require signature for delivery regardless of customer comments upon checkout.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES:
All items on USA Costumes are no refund or exchanges. If your items are by chance defective or were shipped in error, notify us immediately for an exchange authorization for the identical item only (you agree to notify us within 48 hours of delivery). If incorrect items are inadvertently shipped, we apologize and we will correct the error. Please retain any error pieces as a shipping label may be issued for them. Items are discounted and shipped direct. Shipping charges are always non-refundable, even if your order is returned a undeliverable or not accepted. Once orders are entered online (an order number is generated and your card is authorized) they may not be canceled). We do not guarantee delivery dates regardless of any comments entered with orders.
You agree that claims of the item does not fit does not affect the no return policy. If any sizing/fit is provided, it is per the manufacturer and you agree that claiming the costume should fit your body per your email measurements or other claims does not alter your acceptance of the policy.
Apparel, Costumes and accessories and/or styles are subject to change without notice due to manufacturers changes or production. Changes are not controlled by us. We do our best to update descriptions to reflect changes, however, we cannot be responsible for changes or alterations from the descriptions or images. Exchanges for defects must have a return authorization number before shipping to us.
If an item is returned by the carrier as undeliverable or unaccepted for any reason, shipping/handling will not be refunded and the order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any items returned without return authorization will not be refunded, exchanged or returned, if refunded the minimum restocking fee will be up to 50% and less shipping/handling. (So choose carefully)

Pre-orders: Pre-order items and orders are filled on a best efforts basis only. Pre-ordered items are not guaranteed and you agree to hold USACostumes.com and ABC Online Resources, LLC harmless for any delays or inability to meet demand. (Although both cases are rare and have not yet occurred you agree not to sue us or attempt any compensation if we can't get your costume. The lawyers want this sentence here)
CLAIMS: Any claims of loss of shipment or articles must be made in writing within 21 days of order date for all shipments in the USA. Claims after said date may not be honored. By use you agree to provide a signed original affidavit of any claim of non-receipt within the specified period. If you confirm delivery of your order at your address, you are liable for the full purchase price including shipping/handling. Packages are insured while in transit only, once delivered they are the buyers responsibility and no longer insured. Without a signed original affidavit in our possession within the 21 days, you agree that you have received your order in good condition. We prosecute fraud and so does our insurer. By entering an order you agree to terms including: Shipments are FOB Phoenix (seller fulfills his or her obligation to deliver when the goods have shipped (postage or shipping has been paid). This means that the buyer has to bear all costs and risks to loss of or damage to the goods from that point (see insurance terms above).
Back-Orders: Please verify your email address when ordering.
Generally, if items are sold out the balance of your order will be shipped and the total purchase price adjusted before billing. If items are due in our warehouse from suppliers, we may email you to advise of order delays. We do not offer back-orders.
All items and prices are subject to availability (stock on hand) and subject to error (we are not responsible for typographical errors including errors in printing, websites, shipping cost calculation errors, emails etc. and reserve the right to adjust any pricing or cancel items or orders without notice). WE PROSECUTE CREDIT CARD FRAUD. We have prosecuted 7 cases around the world and will prosecute all future cases.
Orders may not be canceled, however if you would like to attempt to cancel an order before shipping you may email your request (see above for email address) including your name and order number. If we are able to pull your order before processing we will accommodate your request. If you order has been processed, then the order may not be canceled or returned. In the event an order is returned as unaccepted or undeliverable shipping/handling fees are non-refundable and subject to return shipping/handling and a 20% restocking fee.
Orders are generally shipped by UPS and PO Boxes are not acceptable (but may be listed on the secondary address line as UPS may pass to the postal service for final delivery in some locations).
Shipping outside the USA by the USPS may take 2-8 weeks in somed areas and delivery dates are not estimated or guaranteed. In the USA, you will get a second email with your tracking information automatically sent to the email address listed on your order. The USPS offers no tracking on some international shipping. There are occasional shipping delays, if items are due back in stock or to verify shipping information with card issuing institutions we will email the updated status.

If your shipment is damaged, you must contact us by email immediately upon receipt to report any manufacturer defects or shipping damage. Claims of defects may be replaced with the identical item/size/color only, no refunds based on defects regardless of timing.
Due to manufacturing changes or improvements or other factors packaging or products may vary from those pictured or described on our website. Colors of fabric WILL vary from those seen on your computer monitor and may vary in different dye lots. By ordering you accept these differences.
In the event of a dispute, including claim of non-receipt or charge-back, we may provide personal information and details of transactions to any individual or organization we deem appropriate to help resolve, prevent further abuse or bring prosecution for fraud or other charges.
We do not rent or sell your name, address, email address or other personal information although we reserve the right to do so to carefully screened companies in the future. If our company or company assets is/are acquired by another in the future, all our client information will also transfer. We only use telephone numbers if we need to contact you regarding an order. Images/Packaging: Due to manufacturing changes or improvements or other reasons (including errors), packaging of products may vary from those pictured or described on our website. Photos and images may not be duplicated. Items in party kits or other kits may vary based on availability, substitutions may occur.
OVERSEAS ORDERS or Outside of the United States, CUSTOMS/VAT: Check with your country or customs agent to determine what, if any, taxes, duties or restrictions may apply. Shipping costs are not refunded if orders are returned by customs or failed delivery attempts. No refund is given on stolen or confiscated orders. Check with your customs agency to verify our products are allowed into your country from the USA. Retail packaging (boxes) may be removed to reduce the size/weight of your order.
